The picnic grove was a private picnic grove and orchard that was in use from about 1920-1940s.
The land owner would charge a fee for people to use the grove. It's on a river and had a band stand, beer stand, hotdog stand and elevated dance floor. I am going to keep searching for the remnants of the stands as the current owner says they are still out there. So keep checking back for the next parts to the video.
