I FOUND SOMEONE ELSE'S TREASURE AT LOW TIDE! A 1 REALE PENDANT AND SOME OTHER GOODIES

Howdy T-netters! Been a while since posting any finds. Just haven't been able to get out and swing the White. Went last Saturday and managed two dimes and a penny. Yesterday went to try and recover a gold and diamond wedding band lost five years ago, but recovered a Swiss Army knife and a 1948 wheatie instead. Today was a father and son kind of day at Vilano Beach. Got out there at low tide to hopefully find shipwreck treasure. Did make videos, but finding it a painstaking process to upload to a link. Will make every effort. Great videos! The innards of a conch shell looked cool, until my second ever sand dollar appeared. Is about a 1/5 of the size of my first one. My son then finds the Hot Wheels formula one match box car. Soon followed the clad quarter at very low tide. The pendant came next which sounded like a Corona party in my ears. I was just able to scoop up the spot at a depth of 3 inches before the tide came back in! Unbelievable! The poor soul who probably found this locally, perhaps, only to have his chain break I guess. Lastly came the useful, and camouflaged Tac-Force brand lock blade knife. Just by luck I found that on a back track to see if my son found something. Best part is the bottle opening end, perfect for opening my Coronas now. No more muscling off those caps now, lol! So, everything in the pic is as a result from cleaning. I took my pendant to a friend of mine who owns Spanish Main Antiques in St Augustine. If any of you folks tend to make to the area, stop in and see his store. Even if you don't purchase anything, you need to see his artifacts. Cobs, swords, flintlocks, encrusted bottles, dead eyes, Megalodon fossil teeth, and too much other cool stuff. He cleaned the bezel for free and told me it was sterling silver, which didn't look to be at first. Salt water did a number on it I guess. Was a dull looking as the cob coin. Sold me a nice silver chain at a low price since I was there. Now way I will go swimming with around my neck. Hopefully I can get the videos uploaded soon. Enjoy the pics! HH!

Well well well... A real ALREADY in a pendant heh

Saves ya from having to get a bezel made :)

Well done... and a stellar find... And yes it IS a real one.

Never thought about that one! Was that after he realized he lost his treasure?

I knew it had to be. Really the only ones in question are from the Atocha, Royals, or Star of Lima. My friend in St Augustine wanted to see whatever I found at there. He'd done pretty well in the past.
