Barbers are always nice, but I really like the dog tag too.

Congradulation- I love the woods also, but nothing in the wood in my area-goldnugget-Charlotte,N.C.

Super finds ---That Barber is a beauty

Nice job on the barber! Did they stop making silver in 1966 in canada or something? Because the cut-off date where it starts to be clad for U.S. Coins is 1965.

There was still silver in even the early 70's Canadian dollars but it was 50% instead of 80% like the one I got here.

Great coins, congrats! The dollar looks like its in great shape. I'll take a Barber in any shape! Nice.

Thanks for all the great replies everyone !!!!!!

Wowe, great figgin day! :)

What is it about the 1912 Barber dime; I found two within the last week myself?
You found a 1912D; I found a 1912S & 1912D within feet of each other!

Good job!

Very nice finds! Keep hoping one of my woods spots will turn up a coin. Keep digging!

here's another couple coins I found at the same spot a couple days later. I've been detecting 19 years and never found one silver dollar and I all of a sudden find 2 in 2 hunts at the same spot no more than a hundred feet apart.

Great finds, I hunted the woods yesterday and found many shotgun shells and a few spent cartridges and a .22 bullet. It seems like there is rarely any old coins where I go, I was thinking they are all too deep. Anyway great post, very encouraging!.
