After spending the last 15 years on the 49erMike prospecting site & then the last 10 as a moderator, it went down this year. So... Since this forum brings the most people to my YouTube page every month, month after month, I would like to hang my hat here from now on :hello:

My YouTube Channel is "The Reed Lukens Channel" at
https://www.youtube.com/user/ReedLukens?feature=mhee
if you use Google Chrome.
You can always contact me there.

I'm an 8th Generation Northern Californian with 5 documented generations of Gold Mining in this state & according to grandma the reason the family stayed here in the first place when they came from Spain with Cortez in the late 1500's is because we were miners from the get go. I have many movies on my channel to help everyone learn everything that I have learned on this subject over the years, so whether your a beginner or a seasoned vet there will be some fun times ahead for you. Now with dredging having been made illegal here in this state, I travel all over the country dredging & detecting with friends; while making movies for everyone. Plus since I am basically semi retired, I have taken my Whites MXT out of the closet finally & always have it in my truck these days. I use it a lot & find a lot with it, though I still need to figure out how to carry it & my camera at the same time :)

I still have to figure out how to post a pic for my account but hopefully one of you can help me there. I can't remember what they are called... arrrr... something, Reed 2.webp lol

Welcome aboard, good to have you. To put pic. on acct, goto settings, left side, go down to edit avatar, then follow the lead. Good luck hunting. Chris
