I found a whole pile of GOLD COINS!!!!!

I enjoyed the post.

It reminds me of the few times that I was digging a target and thought I found a gold coin.

Once was when I had a 3" target on my XLT and I cut a plug to recover and a large gold coin came out, only to be a Canadian Looney.

Another was last weekend, I found a small gold coin, reeded edge and everything. Turned out to be PLAY MONEY. Grrrrr....

Considering that was the person's ONLY post, and putting it in TWO threads, ... in my opinion it was bad taste. However, I have made much worse mistakes than that!!

In another post recently, I sorta jumped the gun by getting onto a newbie thinking they were spamming a book. No, I was wrong. They were just new and uninformed and made a mistake. Mistakes happen, and these mistakes can happen on multiple sides. Let's just learn from it and move on.

I tried to handle my hasty judgement by being very light-hearted and using a lot of humor. That member has returned to the forum, whereas this one has not.
