Ah, ok. It sounded like, from what you'd posted, that you'd already been at the actual site (walking around, or walking your dog, etc...). You say it has trails leading to it. Who walks those "trails"? I mean, like do they go through closed gates/fences? Or ... are they just trails that lead through random woods that anyone can simply walk down/through? (like to walk your dog, as you say) .

If this was a Depression-era settlement, they would have likely burried any extra money. After the crash, very few people trusted ANY bank, and held on to what they made. IF it was in a "less-than desirable" area, burying it was safest, as the casual burglar wouldn't find anything in the house.......
