This morning I found a little silver eagle charm. After taking a closer look at the back, I realized that somebody cut the eagle out of a Standing Liberty Quarter and made a charm out of it. Nice little charm, but I think I'd rather have the whole quarter!

I haven't found a SLQ yet - does this count? :)

Hey S.O.C, I really like your cool S.L.Q. eagle pendant. That one is worth wearing! Can you share what the VDI was on this find on the ATPro. I am always filing that VDI data away for future digs! Sub 8-)

SOC SEEMS YOU GOT YOURSELF A PEICE OF UNUSUAL JEWELRY . PRETTY NEAT.

I think that's an awesome find, whoever made that had some real skill and probably spent a good amount of time to be able to cut it out so perfectly. Congrats! I'm sure you'll find a whole one someday, I'm still lookin for mine!

Agree with the other comments. Common date & no date Standing Liberty quarters are fun to find but realistically not worth much more than scrap value. I would much rather find something unique like your hand made charm.

That's awesome though I'd sport that on my silver chain!

I'd rather have the whole SLQ myself, but that is a really cool find, IMHO. Congrats!

That is a very awesome and I would think RARE find.
What are the odds on that one??

Congrats on a really cool and unique silver find.
