To remove the sand you need an airlift. You can build it yourself for little money, in addition, you need a compressor with high air delivery and a corresponding work platform or boat on the surface.

Hello tks for your reply, i have read the information you post but i have not sure this is a anchor, i'am thinking the item is a piece of a ship mill from a portuguese or spanish galeon i know there were mills inside the ships in order to crush the grains, the grains last much more time without spoil if they were not crushed.

Any more opinions ?

uncover the wreck cheaply. ....and then move to Nome.
