I took my normal Tuesday swing by a TS and they had some new items out. I went thru a large pile of silver plated utensils and found these. The pickle fork is marked sterling and is thick and heavy by G.W. Fairchild and sons. It was $.99. I then saw this bag of two collector spoons. The bag was $2.99. I noticed that the longer one was marked 90 Silver so my first instinct was German plate. I then noticed the carved jade stone and thought this might be Chinese and I do know they used a 90 mark for coin silver and I guessed right. The other was Mexican and the mark was not clear but the color was not the golden alpaca color but a good tarnished silver. After carefully looking under the scope i can see 950 under the MEX. Another good day. I am so lucky to have a large number of TS around me that produce. I wish you all the luck I have been having. Just not in my town please! Lol
