I met up with my buddy Steve and we got in a short hunt but about froze to death, lol. The wind was brutal with temps in the 30's but the wind chill was rough! We went back to the site I dug the Dragoon button several weeks ago. The grass was still thick but we decided to give it a try. We both dug a couple of pistol shots and I was about to head for the truck when I looked up and saw Steve already done and ready to go as well! I headed that way still swinging as I made a bee line towards him when I got a solid signal and decided to dig one more target. Glad I did because it looked old and I could tell it had a nice green patina, I sorta thought it looked like a Rosette, at least was that size. I got back to the truck and Steve is like clean that up at the creek and see what it is! I carefully removed the dirt from the back and could see the us inside, I rinsed it off and there it was US on it! Man I need to go buy some lottery tickets, lol. Hope everyone has some luck this weekend, I am going Sat. The last two pics are all my finds from the last 5 hunts spanning a couple weeks. What is cool is those five hunts were from five different sites! Tim
