Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I hunted another one of those hill tops in San Francisco and dug out one of those coins that don't show up very often, in fact I've now only found 3 of them in 35 years
of metal detecting. Only about 2 inches deep in very rocky soil I pop out an 1864 2 cent piece! These coins are probably common on the east cost, but here in California
they rarely ever come up.

Also dug were a metal cap gun that was half a foot deep, 3 Wheaties, 3 tokens, and about $ 5.00 in clad. Some of my oldest coins have come off the hill top parks in San Francisco,
a 1872 half dime, a 1859 seated quarter, and today an 1864 2 cent piece!
