I Don't Think It's a Cigarette Case..

Dug this up near the V.F.W. Hall as we looked for a property corner 'stake'.

If the little riveted-on things used to be bent up 90°, then maybe it *is* a cigarette case.

One thing I'm sure of is that it's still dirty. When I finish the dishes, I'll clean it up.

i`ll bet the first thing you thought was that there would be some coins in it! i know thats what i would have thought! as far as ID ing it, im afraid i wont be much help.

It appears it may be a bit large for a snuff case.

That's a box for flies for fishing. Each clip can hold one fly. I have some of those boxes. It might be a Richard Wheatley box from England,or another brand. No flies in it?

No flies that I could see (and no little hooks in my glove hand, either, glad of that).
By god, there are experts on everything in this place.
