I dont know what its called, but........

Re: I don't know what it's called, but........

Thank you Trish..
The gift(for lake of a better word is hard to explain.I am real good with knowing pregnet stuff.I can tell when some one is with child, but can't predict the lotto. You have to take it as it comes. Not everyone is a Medium, or Ghostwhisper...Everyone has thier own skill set..
Sometimes it's just a flash(in your mind)Or just a thought.Examaple....When I lived in M.D...We were driving down a wooded road to a state park. When I seen a tree with a large limb stickin out over the road. From the first second I saw it ,In my mind eye I saw a fellow hangen from that limb.(neck tie party style)It realy shook me up!...But it passed,& I stoped thinking of it.A while later while fishing the same area,I met a local, and we got to talking.I told him the story.....He told me that back in the day, there were some hangins there.Mayhaps not the same tree, but the vibe was there And I think I picked up on that!

Cachefinder,

On the old Religion thread (which is no longer around ) I told about the son of Country singer Ricky Skaggs being rescued by his Guardian Angel after having a serious car wreck. Ricky told the story on a TV talk show. This happened several years ago up in Tennessee and just a few months ago, a local man was rescued from his rolled over car by a man who was the exact description of the man who helped Scaggs' son. And HE disappeared from the scene, too, in both cases.

That is the strangest part of the story --that they just disappeared ** in my neighbors story they could just not understand how they
left the area
--u could only travel about 10 mph on this road.

Cachefinder-

Ricky Scaggs' son said the muscular black man, smiled at him, reached in through the windshield opening and pulled the steering column off of his legs and told him that everything would be OK. Then, stepped back as the EMTs rushed up to get the kid. Scaggs Jr. asked the EMTs where the man went and they told him there had been no one there when they came up.
Jump forward to the local (Mississippi) incident. A local man, speeding, rolled his MG sportscar and the car stopped upside down pinning him underneath. A muscular black man with a shaved head rush up and calmed the man's wife and helped 2 other men roll the car back upright. Somehow, the man's wife got a Polaroid snapshot of the man. After he "disappeared", they couldn't find the photo. No one in the area knew of the black man.
Back to the Scaggs boy. He had dreamed of meeting his Guardian Angel several months before his wreck, and the man who helped him was that man.

I emailed the Skaggs through their website, trying to pass on the local story, but they never answered. (not surprising)

Hey, Cachefinder. I just realize that I was wrong about my previous posting about the Skaggs. That post was made on this "Paranormal" thread line and not the Religious one. Sorry for the misinfo.

Very strange

In my neighbors story the man and his "wife" were white-- but they both said the man was very muscular -he was wearing a short sleeve
shirt --and there was snow all over the ground. ???

Thank for the info on the other thread -- i will check it out :icon_study:

Re: I don't know what it's called, but........

My brother, who is now deceased, worked in Saudi Arabia for Aramco in the '70s in construction. He had an old volkswagen that he used to get around with. One afternoon he took out across the sand headed someplace I don't remember. Toward dark, the car got a flat or something similarly innocent. Anyway, he had to stop. This was not a place you want to be stuck, he told me later. He waited around and pretty soon a truck showed up, helped him repair the VW, and wished him well. And disappeared. Full desert and not a trace of another vehicle when he got himself going again.

Re: I don't know what it's called, but........

Premonition....

Thats what it's called. Except you had yours after the event happened and not before

Premonitions are sometimes attributed to the presence of supernatural or paranormal abilities such as those of the prophetess Cassandra. However, the distinction between precognition and ordinary evidence-based predictions is sometimes not made sharply. Premonition is a concept which may or may not include ordinary predictions, resulting in a bias towards supernatural explanations for the phenomenon.

There are many recorded instances of premonitions which have come true but many others may be explained by the knowledge or deduction of those who experience them. An interesting analysis is presented in J.W. Dunne's book An Experiment with Time.
