I don't have a clue?

About 2 and a half inches across. 1454711999675.jpg

I don't have a clue?

Looks cool. Something to do with coins? Top of a piggy bank? Looks like it would match up to a quarter, dime and nickel by the circles on it! Maybe I'm wrong but cool fund! [emoji2][emoji106]

Think your on to something. I'd say definitely for coins. I can see where it looks like coins and says "25" "5 c" and maybe 1 c?

I think it's cool looking, too.
I don't have a clue either, it reminds me of something my dental floss comes out of.
Does it come apart, whats on the back?
I was also thinking, like, a thread sorter and/or some typa bobbin?

Yah, looks like a coin dispenser. Must turn or have some moving parts no?

Forgive my ignorance guys, I cant see how you get the coin in before it bumps the back side. Maybe I'm just looking at the pic wrong.

Maybe it's some form of coin checker. In the past people would clip silver off or shave it down. So they could put the coin on the circle and check its size and put it in the slot to check its thickness. Just a guess though. Or anti counterfeit or something???

You are right you would never just put a coin in with out taking it apart. It is not made to just come apart easily either.

Looking at it more, does it appear the coins could be slid into it, from the sides?
It looks like, if your hold it in your palms, you could cause it to twist or turn on itself.......

I looked at some old kinda close coin holders online. Maybe it's a small change holder and the slots are to look in to see what you got left in there. I'm fairly positive it has something to do with coins in three different denominations. Very cool find regardless! [emoji2]

I'm going to end with my guess with it being a "antique women's coin compact"! [emoji2]
