OK...as you already know (thanks haupin!) 8) it's my birthday today. Hubby has ASKED me all week...."WHAT CAN I GET YOU FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!" And all week I have been saying..."JUST TAKE ME TO THE OLD BARN!" That's not a present he would say! And I would say OH BUT YES IT IS!!!
So I got up this morning----28 degrees out! Waited and waited for it to go above freezing. About 11:30 finally made it out the door and to the old barn. Searched by the old spring behind the barn and found lots of Liberty buttons. I assume Liberty overall buttons. The man who owns the place said that back in the day people would come to the spring and wash their cloths. Guess I found the spot!
Then on over on the other side of the creek I found..........1904 Indian!!! My oldest coin so far! I could not tell what it was till I got home and ran some water over it. I am so happy! And I am also happy to have someone to share my excitement with too!!!!! Gotta run!! Time for the birthday party!!!!
