The 40 by 30 miles around here produced 30 million ozs of gold. At the moment i hunting a hill, once called "The Mountain of Gold " by the chiness gold miners. This site was considered the 6 th richest deposit of gold in the 19th century. Gold was mined here many different ways for over a 100 years.

With all the spring rain which the wetest ever recorded. How much has been washed out. I managed 4 grams on 60 feet of dirt track and the other coins and relic came of one section of the hill.Managed the finds on 2 evening for about 4 hours in total.

Ah yers merry Christmas everyone! I hope 2011 is better than 2010 for all of you.

Tinny, I would stick it on Ebay over xmas, put some pics up, list it in the, what is it, weird and unusual section, I forget what its called but its something like that as well as the gold nugget section. Lets say a reserve or list price of $500 and see what happens?
