Topix exists for most towns. Treasure net doesn't own or run it. Lived in Uvalde for a couple of years and their Topix had all sorts of libel, slander and nasty stuff on it.But it was funny too. People put all sorts of stuff. Who was cheating on who, who was a ho, what guys were hot, where to live, everything. I think you can remove it or just ignore it.

Calm down, Albert. I know nothing of Topix...but this is not the acts of the real Marc. The individual is a VERY SICK person who has a vendetta against Marc, TNet, Jeff, and a whole bunch more including me. The individual is impersonating Marc...we know who he is and it's not Plebah. TC, that has been up there for a long time, it was done by a former member who got angry at Marc and TNet, I was here when it was going on, he was banned by Marc and TN and got mad about being banned so he had a bunch of the videos posted on youtube using Marcs name, it was not done by Plebah or Marc..... I also know who it is, he is a cyber troll.....

TreasureNet is not responsible for the youtube videos...... If I make a derogatory video and post the video on youtube using your name are you liable for it? If I post on Topix in my town and make derogatory comments about myself using your name as the poster are you liable for it, can I sue you because someone else posted it under your name.........?

If Tnet knows who it is I need the name of the person,, If tnet is hiding that person They become liable. This started in Tnets forum and has not been dealt with By tnet, I need a call from the owners of this site.

Find out where your local circuit court is. Go to the civil division. You can only do this if you have the IP address. You file a civil suit against the ISP and then subpoena the legal department for the IP holders name, address and telephone number. Once you get that information you dismiss the case without prejudice. You then file another suit against the stalker for damages. Depending on how bad it is. What proof you have etc. I suggest taking screen shots of all Internet communications ( simply hit the prt Scrn button then open paint and paste it there) , embedding a stat counter in your blog or myspace ( stat counter.com is free and easy to use), do not engage in the correspondence, make sure that you ask them to stop, NEVER get nasty with the person, if you have sought metal health assistance that is proof, how long it took you to repair any damage from this person. I would never do the maximum alloted amount. You are just doing this to fight back and prove that you will not take this. Once this person is found to be at fault by the magistrate go to the police dept and pressure them to prosecute.
You can take the power away from these people. They do this because they feel that they will never get caught. Someone has to take a stand and get these people to stop. This is not your fault.
