I cant believe this!! I dug my 1st COB

What a day Ill never forget! I was detecting with my friend in his neighborhood in Ma. in the woods on a trail & what use to be farmland. I got a nice signal on my ET even though it was a foot deep! Wow I dug a COB! This is so exciting for me. I never thought Ide ever find one! I use to joke around saying Im going to find some COBS! Its no joke now! Thanks for looking!

Thanks again everyone! Wow this post is as good as my post in the NH BOBS METAL DETECTING FORUM. Its a good find so I guess no matter where Ill get alot of replies. I hit the same place again, and I found a button in great shape with an eagle on it, and a MERC. My friend found a solid silver spoon, a silver quarter, a 3cent silver, a rosie, and 2 MERCS. Not many places are giving up like that these days. My friend and I have only been here 2X's so far. Im going again tomorrow.
