A long time ago I realized that coins were a very good thing. Selling them on ebay is the easiest money I've ever made.

I've bought coins and resold them on ebay and made hunderds of dollars in one week. It's a hobby for me but pays for all my detectors and trips.

Not long ago I bought (6) $1 gold coins from a guy on ebay who didn't post any pictures and his writup was something like "gold dollars bad shape." I got them for $40-$50 each. I quickly relisted them with photos and they all sold for up to about $150 each. I've had many deals like that.

My best was a rare Spanish maravedis I paid $10 for and resold for about $250. The thing was I didn't even know it was rare. I got it all encusted and cleaned it. I was hoping to get $20 for it. Boy was I shocked when I saw the final bid!
