I got out for the day to try my luck , You know they say odds are about (100 - 1) Trash targets to find's , I found one after only 60 targets or so , I am getting better or just lucky I think .

That's definitely a lot of hard work! I'm sure every one of those targets was a screamer.

You defiantly earned that one, well done.

Theres some targets there that are smaller than anything Ive ever detected. damn impressive unit. Theyre not kidding about the gb2 being best unit on the market for small gold.

p.s. save your brass.

Sticking with it until you find the gold is the secret of success when it comes to nugget hunting.

Congratulations and all the best,

Lanny

Very nice! Detecting trashy areas is brutal work considering the amount of holes dug. I've got a gb2 and a gpx. A p.i. in trashy ground is something akin to a hardcore torture workout. Beauty of trashy ground is that it never really gets hunted out.
The first time I detected Western US goldfields I was beyond amazed that you could go a full day of swinging and maybe hit 1-5 targets total in some areas. In those areas pretty much every target is 50/50 gold. Easier on the body but definitely more boring and lots of hiking.
