I am new to your community just a general rockhound, prospector, and metal detector in the Pacific Northwest.
So, what I need help with is identifying a rock This rock is dense, heavy and feels like metal. The photos are of the rock on top of a standard poker playing card which is just smaller than 2.5” x 3.5”. Very cool rock! Move it to the "Rocks & Gems" forum for a better chance at an ID or maybe post to the Metiorites Forum.

When you repost this in Rock and Gem forum try taking picture in natural light and don't use a black background for a black rock also put a coin for reference or you can use a playing card but black on black makes it harder to see contrast will help it stand out better maybe black on white.
