Ok, granted, it's not a honker, but beggars can't be choosers.

Best I can tell, it's a service pin.... 3 rubies, based on other threads and research, I'd guess that each ruby represents 5 years.

There wasn't a pin in the back, but it looks like a clasp was broken off from the top.

Only question I got....what company?

While we're at it..... guess the year of the wheat.:tongue3:

Broken off tie clip maybe

I'll try to dig a little bit. In case it hasn't been mentioned, CTO is the company that manufactures those pins, not the company the pin was manufactured for. I've had several of those types of pins made by them in the past [designed for different companies].

edit: Didn't find anything even remotely close. I did, however, identify a general motors service pin that I have sold off a few years ago without knowing where it was from. On a side note, anyone ever notice how useless google [using] image search is?

Yes, I know that CTO is the maker, there is a great link provided by Tnetter Stewball....
Google images is useless if a piece has never been documented, no doubt.

Nice find on the tiny gold mate. Gotta' dig it ALL pays off once in awhile. Glad you got your mystery solved too. Well done.

I did find the ones I have from different service anniversaries. One was on a watchband, and two others are on pocket knives that were service anniversaries as well. When I get a little time tomorrow I will take some pics and post them for you.

Nice find!!! Congrats on finally getting some gold ;)

I'm gonna guess 1943 on the wheat. Looks like you have many opinions on the pin.

Going with the odds and say 1944 on the wheat. Can't add to the info on the service pin.

That's a really cool unique little piece of gold my man. Something I rarely luck into. Go Aaron Judge lol

Found 4 like yours

I found four pins that I have gotten as service anniversary rewards and will try to attach some pics. I tested the two with diamonds, and they are really diamonds so I assume the rubies and emeralds are probably the real deal too.IMG_0003.JPGIMG_0004.JPGIMG_0005.JPGIMG_0007.JPG

Thankyou so much John!....
It's great to see your examples....
I could go on and on about how great Tnet is, but you already know that!:icon_thumleft:

He is something else huh?
Dude is a beast.
Hard to admit that this is the most likable Yankee team in my lifetime....that being said...
Yankees Suck!:laughing7:

Johncoho...
A closer look, my piece may have been attached to a watch fob as well....I think so....

Hope that helps, my friend. Tnet is an awesome place with a ton of nice people ready to help when they can. I have received a ton of good info anytime I need it. Have a good one, Big Wave Dave.
