for the last few weeks I've been hunting another private yard. I've probably put in about 10 hours and Joe has been there a few hours as well.

Here are the totals for the property:
3 Mercs
1 Silver Roosevelt
3 Barber dimes
33 wheaties
1 buffalo nickel
4 clad quarters
5 nickels, all pre 1960
56 mem. pennys
5 clad dimes
1 foreign coin
1 token
2 pieces of silver jewelry

it says "Vindex, Reading PA" they were a cigar company so I'm guessing it might have come off of a box of cigars but I'm not sure.

Great hunting! Nice variety of stuff, too

I thought Vindex was cleaning spray for the Pennsylvania Dutch... " Vee need zom Vindex to vash der vindows." ??? ::) :P

Some sweet finds. Old private yards are my favorite places to hunt.

Ha Ha. I liked the joke. It reminds me of my Grandpa's jokes.

Hey cntrydncr1,

I'm not sure, but that one button on the lower left with the eagle holding the anchor looks like either a civil war naval button or a War of 1812 naval button. You may want to get that checked out. Great finds!

Your Friend,

Steve in Michigan
