2009 A06206494*

Older Currency:
1963 Red Seal $2 bill
1969A $20 bill (not sure if it is worth more than face, but I love the look of older $20 bills)

Foreign Currency:
The Government of Trinidad and Tobago $1 Notes
The dates and serial numbers: January 2nd, 1939 #5D 30243, May 1st, 1942 #29D 32391, January 1st, 1943 #35D 80789, and January 1st, 1943 #35D 09317

I traded a new $10 for this 1985 $10. I hardly ever see any bills older than 1995. Does anyone else keep bills older than 1995? I keep them because I love the look of them.

There's a teller at my bank that keeps these for me and I always buy them from her. I often end up spending them on coins or use them to bank roll my CRH efforts. I love the old 50's and 100's the most. If you are looking for specific bills let me know and I'll see if I can score you some for face value.

I got a $5 star note today it is # IA 01299339*.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know anything about them. I bought them at an auction because I thought they were neat. I paid $7.50 for all four of them.

Today when I went to the bank I got $100 in 1's. I got a 2009 note #F00000413 I. I consider this a low serial number, but I really don't know which bills are low serial numbers. I also got a 1988A series note #L03113404 S. Is the 2009 note worth more than $1.

I got $100 in 1's today, but I didn't find any keepers. Hopefully I will get more 1's soon.

I worked in the concession stand at my grandparents auction house tonight. I looked at all of the bill people paid with and here is what I got: 2006 $1 star note # B03394883 and a 2004A $10 star note # GG00175155 which has a run size of 512,000. Do y'all think I should keep the $10 or spend it?

Last week I managed to get 2 star notes. The $1 is 2009 #A04278219*, and it has a run number of 3,200,000. The $20 is 2009 # JD00607645*, and it has a run number of 640,000. I know the $1 has a large run number, but I keep all $1 star notes no matter how many were made. Happy hunting!

just today my neighbor down the street came over and brought a 1964 ten dollar bill said she thought it looked strnge and asked if i knew if it was good, her daughter got in some change and they were afraid it was counterfieght, she is deaf but reads lips very well, i pointed out the date to her and told her i would give her a new ten for it and she said no and went away looking kind of leary.
