I did my first hunt with a fellow detectorist, beerguy, in a little old mill town called stanwood.
Beerguy has pulled lots of good stuff from this place, and I could see the Remnants of past plugs.
I pulled a few old Canadian small cents, beerguy got 1 wheatie.
I yanked out a 6 in merc. A 1928 d with lots of crud. So stoked!!
Beerguy had to call it a day, so I stayed a little longer and found an awesome ring! It's a small womens Sterling ring with a cool X hallmark. It looks old and I would appreciate any info if folks had some. The stone looks like the fake ruby stuff. But I'm no expert.
