Hunt just before dark

I got done at the job late and scored a permission on the way home. I finally started hunting at 8:27pm. Shortly after, I was hunting via street light. My very first good signal that I dug was the Silver 1941 Quarter. The next signal was A 1941 not Silver Nickel. Right after I dug the nickel the guy came back out and said his Mom looked out and saw Me and wants Me to leave. Arghhhh!! Pretty sure this yard is full of goodies Oh well, at least I scored Silver #16fty! Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!!!!!!!!

That's too bad about the retracted permission Randy, some folks are funny that way.

I once received permission to detect the backyard of a one-room schoolhouse by the wife, but when she phoned her husband to let him know, he told me to get off their property.
I had even offered to give them anything I found, I just asked to be allowed to keep the coins.

I’d say this only happens about .05 percent of the time. For every 10 houses I ask for permission, I usually end up with at least 7.5 permissions on an average. So I guess even though We get this from time to time it’s really no biggy. There’s so many more yards just waiting I’ve been given permission by the Wife and then turned away by the Husband a couple of times also Antiquarian. Happy Hunting!!!!
