If the police reserves of the Atlantic Avenue Station, Brooklyn, had not arrived shortly after midnight yesterday in front, of 1,587 Atlantic Avenue, a search by a crowd of 500 awe-stricken negro men and women for a pot of gold and the ghost of Diederick Heineke, who conducted a roadhouse at that address more than thirty, years ago, might have continued all night....................
