We bought some "woven" hummingbird house's that hang from a limb. After 3 years no nest but plenty of birds. I've seen several hummingbird nest and they look like a sock hanging from a limb.

Yeah, I remember seeing a woven one hanging from my parent’s apple tree when I was a boy. They will build them just about anywhere, I guess. Have seen them on YouTube build one on the wires of Christmas lights (outdoors, of course, lol). We have many birds because of the feeders we put out so hopefully these will work!

They look great but i didn't think hummers nested in boxes just in little cup like nests stuck to branches

Thanks! You are correct according to what I just read😄 I guess I will just add an eye hook to the bottoms and hang feeders from them🤪 They should make conversation pieces anyway, lol.

i've seen a couple nests, very well camouflaged, they look like a knot on a limb.

they will be great bird houses for them little bitty birds like tits, wrens, etc. Will be fun to see who moves in

yes, they are hard to find because they are so small and blend in so well

Suggestion; cut the perch off and they would be a good blue bird house.

I often wonder where they nest …one morning years ago I opened the garage door and within seconds there was a hummingbird inches from my face fluttering it’s wings so quickly
I think perhaps it was because of the bright color shirt and hat
