Huge, Busy Hunt Today with Extremely Modest Results...

I was off work today and decided to go on an all-out, crazy ambitious hunt. I think I stopped in at least 25 different banks asking for all of their half dollars, CWRs of dimes and any weird or old coins that they had. By the time I was done driving all over the place, I had accumulated $1995 in change. I had halves, dimes, quarters, even Eisenhowers! When I got home I poured through all of it. And what do I have to show for it A single silver dime (1960 Roosie). Oh well, $2K in half dollars tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day! ;-)

It can be like that sometimes. I did roughly the same thing yesterday but lucked out at the last bank. I ended up with 1 40% and 11 silver rosies. Not bad. The good thing was that it was all on my route home.

Made more then the interest you woulda have made if it just sat in the bank.

Ive had days like that, when you wish you woulda just stayed home and avoided the headache of driving all day.
