The only reason I mentioned them was because when I first heard of the story of Oak Island (this is what you guys are referring to right ?) They clearly said they were digging down and when they reached a certain platform they went home for the night, only to return the next day to the shaft being flooded, and no amount of trying to drain the water cleared it.. because it was coming from shafts in the side of the well..
