That's interesting, how did you overcome the micro gold issue?
Are there times that micro gold is the only item in your search area and you'd want to try and recover some of it?

In California there is micro-gold every where. I am told that they give off a signal with the strength of 30 or 40 pounds of gold. That has been my experience also. Being a physical dowser that was a problem. I used to dig all my signals but processing micro-gold is a long process. Sometimes I would have 70 or so signals and no way to tell the amount of gold. Now I can eliminate over 50 % of the micro-gold. I do not search for placer gold now except when I need some quick cash so it is not a big problem anymore. Sorry I can not tell you how I eliminate the micro-gold but it gets into banned subject matter….Art

Hey Jon...I know what you are saying. I do a little mental dowsing but I try to stick to the Physical Dowsing as I use other equipment that will not work with mental dowsing. ..Art

Hello Art,
I can't say I have any of those tools except a 2 box unit.
I like to work with all the different types of dowsing instruments, pendulum, Y-rod, L-rod, angle rods, the wand (bobber). It's nice to have different tools and I don't think a tr. hunter can have enough. I know I would'nt call on a plumber who said he could fix everything with just a wrench!
