How to keep ocean mist & rain out of the control head

What does everyone use to keep out the mist from the ocean & rain
i was told by the dealer to use Glad Wrap and to cut the tube into
smaller sections w/ a Dremel.

How to keep it dry?

Go to Finds metal detecting forum and click on Garrett. Lots of Ace 250 users there. Look for a man posting named John-Edmonton. He posted awhile back on just that question. He has a little device you can build for about $3.00. He'll send you the details if you ask. Click on his name and send a private e-mail if you want.

Me, I use the see through plastic wrap. It's never failed me.
