Need you to accurately measure it and tell us its diameter. It looks like it has a horsegear bridle-rosette's iron attachment crossbar on its back. Collar-insignia discs / lapel discs do not have that form of attachment-provision, and are a good bit smaller in diameter than a rosette.

Joe, I moved the pictures to this thread. In the future, if you want to add pictures just type in your message in the reply box at the bottom of the thread and then click on the "go advanced" box at the bottom right. It will open a new page and you can scroll down to manage attachments and upload your pictures there.

looks to me like a WW2 era collar disc with the double clutches, and the pin posts have been bent down flat
