How many bucks?
It's all copper cents- pre 82. Arranged by natural tarnish from circulation. Just decided to let it go.

You're kidding about that price, right?

Only if it doesn't sell - you are welcome to make one and sell it cheaper...
Or spend yours on a beaver fetus or a banana- https://www.gq.com/story/suddenly-the-koons-is-this-100k-banana
Remember, some folks believe the world is flat and others that like Bernie Sanders...
How about this one.

Better than a banana duct taped to a wall for $120,000.

Go for it.

man I need to start selling pennies, I thought you had to be a charter member to do that.

The banana and tape art sale was a hoax perpetrated by the buyer and seller. Lots of publicity and dialog over nothing. Sometimes I think these things are done to monitor the publics gullibility. How easily they can be brought to believe things with out question. Even the most ridiculous and absurd things, like the flat earth idea.
If the BuckArt peice had a frame I might be tempted to buy it. It certainly is a good price. I would expect something like that to go up in value.

If I were to do this I would look into having them mass produced overseas. They each can be made very quickly and cheaply. Penny Art.

Escape - some folks are hard of reading. And naturally negative... But it still provides publicity!
If you put a price on anything - it is determined by the "need" to sell.
It is somewhere on scale between right now to first person that sees it and never. Where on the scale it is- is where "need" puts it.
Art is the most aggressive scale there is- right above fashion.

Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. That's free market & the best way to run a economy. As soon as the government takes your money and spends it against your will it is stealing.

I wont comment on the price, as enough of the others have done that. I will say, it is a beautiful piece, and I have an appreciation for it, since I was a deer hunter for 35 years. I like the use of the pennies.

Beautifully done! :icon_thumleft:
