How Long Did It Take To Find Treasure

Just curious how long to to for any of you to find your first peices of treasure at the beach... I'm getting a little discouraged and just need some encouragement. I'm still pretty new to the Hobbie so all hope is not lost.

I agree with Dr. Joe prime! The treasure is the actual hunting! The best hunt is the one that doesn't end! Regarding treasure I'm not close to a coast so had to hunt parks! I did hit a pattern of about a thousand targets dug up in all metal mode between my gold rings! I dig everything.
