How I made my electrolysis silver coin cleaner

Probably most of you know how to make these, but here goes anyway. Remove the connector from a cell/mobile phone charger, fit two crocodile clips, black clip to white wire,red clip to red wire.The black clip goes on the coin the red clip on a stainless steel spoon. Put something silver between the jaws of the clip and either side of the coin. If you don't do this you will mark the coin. I use two broken bits of an hammered coin which are very thin. You clean the coin in a ceramic bowl in warm salt water, one small spoon of salt 5ml. Make sure the salt is fully dissolved ,don't allow the coin and spoon to touch. This method quickly cleans coins, check the coin and rinse it every minute or so under water whilst lightly brushing with a tooth brush.

Nice set up. I use a small set up like that in the kitchen and a large battery charger set up in the garage for larger items. Good luck.
