How far away do you live from where you were born?
I was born in Lawrence, Kansas in 1959 and now live in North Georgia, about 800 or so miles away.

I was born in DeWitt, Ia

I now reside in Pekin, Illinois. I think we'd be talking 120 miles give or take a few. Oddly, I always thought my family hailed from Northwest Iowa...(one generation did) but have found my Great, Great Grandparents on my Mom's side lived about 30 miles from where I now live. I have distant cousins buried and living all around me.

Just a little more research..and there will be some more family history to learn..I hope.
