How deep can a detector get?

I am using a VPN, so yeah, the IP might not be that accurate. Plus, it's not a graveyard; this is just my theory I could be wrong, though. The rumors here say there's gold, so I don't know. I just want money.

Please don't call the police on me. I am technically digging on my private property :(

No worries, I would never call the law on any member unless they were threatening immediate violence against someone.

Digging even 20ft is a major endeavor, if you don't shore the walls it becomes your grave, and any target 20-30 ft deep will have to be large to see even with 2 box.

zero unfortunately, i guess he was broke, also it was a fragment bone so i'm not sure if it's a human which we found
"me and my nephew already found a skeleton there while digging there"
"it was a fragment bone so i'm not sure if it's a human"
😂
"Hello, National Geographic!? Ah yes I think you might be interested.....I found a skeleton. Yes, yes a skeleton. Do I have it? Yes if course its in my hand as we speak!"

in my defense it was a part of a spine, not that small🤣

Post deleted. Please remember rules.👍

You might want to sort of discreetly check what the laws are in your country concerning that sort of activity before making a move. And I sympathize with you on that hospital bill.

Even if you do end up doing some digging, I think it would be wise to avoid trying anything near or under your house. There was a fellow posting here on TNet a while back who, if I remember correctly, caused damaged to his house trying to dig a 30 + foot deep hole in his basement looking for treasure.

If you were to find a good amount of gold, what would you do with it? 3000+ year old artifacts would be hard to sell without the army showing up again.

not 10, it was 2 meters,

Iam 99% sure the rumor is real, I know it sound crazy, i know it sounds like iam on drugs, ya i know, but hear me out
My father told me about a story that my father's grandfather had once found an golden artifact there + me and my nephew found a bone fragment there + it happend 2 times where someone was digginng for constructions, and found something, the army came out of no where and took it from him, I saw it before my eyes and the other one my father told me about it. so yes its a real thing,

i know it looks like iam some troll in here goofing around but its seriouis
Yes it does sound exactly like that. But what the heck, have fun.

First of all, hello everyone,
I am all new to the treasure-hunting world, and it's nice to meet you all! 😊

There has always been a "legend" running through my family that there is gold buried underneath our house, gold to be specific.

It is said that our neighborhood was built on an ancient civilization, my guess is that its graveyard where, back in the day, people used to bury treasure with their dead, perhaps to use in the afterlife. I’ve decided that now is the right time to try and dig for it since I need to pay an urgent hospital bill.

I’m looking for advice on getting a good, affordable gold detector that can detect deep enough—maybe around 10 meters. There price seem expensive, and I’m not sure if a regular metal detector will be enough. What do you think?
Have you ever watched the movie “Poltergeist”?
