How can you tell if something is of Spanish or Mexican origin?

Now, telling Spanish from Mexican. If you know Spanish Signs and Symbols, you know they were very well versed in mining and mining symbolism. The best way to differentiate between Spanish and Mexican (generally) is that Mexican will look less formal than Spanish. Imagine Spanish as being the highest technology, and after the Spanish Mining Experts left after "Viva La Revolucion'" (1820s), things became less technical and more Superstitious. Mexicans became more obsessed with curses and Treasure Guardian Spirits, etc. Spanish were very Catholic and believed as we do today that no matter how bad evil is ..... God is more powerful. The Spanish were wary of curses and spirits, but didn't fear them. Likely, they would have had at least one Priest with them to counter any devilry.

One last thing regarding the age of arrastras. It doesn't matter! Unless you are looking to put something in an historical context, arrastras were ONLY USED FOR ONE THING - Processing Gold Ore. If you find an arrastra with the floor stones intact, there is a very good chance you may find a nice payday. Doesn't matter if the gold fines are 10 years old or 300 years old. An arrastra is an arrastra. HAHAHA
