Earlier today I bought an entire display cabinet and its contents at an antique mall ($300). One of the vendors passed away and the family is stacking it deep and selling it cheap. This point was in the case and she had it marked $80 and that was on sale 😆 . All of the items she had were marked way too high. I normally don't even try to figure out whats authentic when I'm wondering yard sales, flea markets etc. but since this was in the case I thought I would post it and see what y'all thought about it. One side has glue on it like it had been glued into a display at one time. If it is genuine, would this be a re-worked point? made into a drill?

no, no,no..... you can't leave it like that... the whole contents?...give us more!
😆 Ok Ok here's some back story and an update.
We rented a booth at this mall and have a move-in date of Oct 1st. Since we didn't have a large lockable case, the "going out of business" booth caught my eye. This was the largest case in the booth and for $300 I was confident we could get our money back. Being the cautious shopper I am though, I took some pictures through the glass and had 3 items sold for $100 before we even paid for it. $324 with tax and $100 sold, we only had $224 left to cover.
Once we started going through it I found stuff that we're interested in like the arrowhead then a nice CW Enfield and a pristine torpedo bottle. One shelf was mostly fashion jewelry but we found a .925 bangle in it...subtract another $10 in silver off the case. There was some carved ivory pieces, some Netsukes that look like the were carved from teeth, lots of glass ware, mechanical toys and doll parts. Some other interesting pieces were monogrammed whiskey flasks, advertising memorabilia, political buttons, ephemera and some medicine bottles (the kind that we throw back when digging...because, you know, slicks don't do it for us).
Since I started this post I have sold an item on feebay and my profit was $23...only $191 left to go.
We will be removing the large white base and top to this case (they added these for old fluorescent light fixtures) and replacing it with natural wood and retrofitting it with LED lighting.
I have started re-pricing everything 80% lower that we're putting back in the case.
I've decided to keep the arrowhead.
My cousin is partners with me in the booth. She is the jewelry and glassware expert. Here's some pics of us emptying the case and a couple of pics of the mess while I was trying to research the small stuff.

It's an 'authentic stone', no one has the absolute ability to say when it was shaped - you might be able to 'guess' if it was found near other artifacts, but even then they may have simply re-used something that they had found - you could have shaped it yesterday - this can't be quantified unless your the one who chipped it yourself.

Yep, agreed. Authentic.

Forget the worn out drill with the step fractures your investment is in the case alone.
Good morning!
Let go cut some hay.Dew will be off in 2 hours........
BTW drill is good but not worth much. Its the perfect items that raise an eye broww !
