How are you posting pics from digital camera?

You need a photo editor, most computers come with Microsoft Photo Editor. If you don't have it you can download it in just a few minutes I think. Go into the program Microsoft Photo Editor and open the picture then go Click Image and Click Resize.

(PM me if you need more help)

Keep @ it and HH!!

Lance,

Some cameras actually have a setting to keep the size down, but the software that came with it most likely has a feature. ?For example, I use a Kodak Easy Share, and in the software if you open the pic then click "Save As", there is a little drop down clicky thingy (note the highly technical terms used here, there will be a quiz!) that allows you to save it at 100%, 75%, 50%, etc and this brings down the size big time. ?Another option is host it on a service that provides thumbnails. ?I use Image Shack (http://www.imageshack.us/) ; it's free, and very simple to use. ?Simply hit the "Browse" button on the main page, find your pic, hit "upload", then it will give you a bunch of choices for hosting links.

I'm sure some of the more technical folks can give you some other ideas, but this is what works for me. ?Can't wait to see some pics!

If you have Photo Shop, you can also move it into there & use "STRETCH & SKEW" to Decrease Size.

If you can set your camera to take a lower size picture. ?If that don't work you will need to have some type of software. ?I use photo plus and Print shop. ?Maybe even paint shop. ?Pull the picture up in one of those programs and find the tab that is used to resize. ?Just make it smaller and right click on it to read the properties and that will list the the size. ?Use save as to save the picture under a new name in a easy to find folder and just attach it......

Lance, when I installed my camera software it also installed the software to download to computer. When downloading, click on edit button next to file in top left. See if there's a dropdown that says resize. Click on pic once to highligt it and then click resize. Mine gives option to blank out current size and then fill in with 640X480. Too, your camera might have the capibility of rsizing as mine has 4 settings from 2048X1536 down to 640X480. You might also be able to change quality from superfine, fine, and normal-meaning fewer pixels (all that means is if you want to have pic turned into a print then it limits what size it can be blown up to and still have the sharpness. For posting, I think normal and 640X480 is probably best.

I use photo shop and 640X480 is just about right. JIM
