Just when I think myself and Renogeoff have cleared out this lot it keeps surprising me with finds. This last weekend I dug all the whispers and iffy signals and it paid off, it was rough theres alot of trash to deal with but my persistance paid off with some great finds. Only foumd 1 silver merc this week but came up with lots of other great finds, hopefully I can get some identification on some. Theres a Silver and copper piece marked taxco mexico that I cant figure out what it is? Found a great Ford badge from the 30's, a watch fob and token from boulder dam also from the 30's.lots more tokens, some unidentifiable coins, the usual pile of wheats and a large ball of lead and a bar which I also think is lead, sure got my heart racing though thinking it may be silver. Lol. Guess ill see this next weekend if there is possibly more I missed.

cool stuff. man that soil is dry. looks like concrete

Great assortment of finds. The token w/ Willis Driskill might have more info. They had a machine that was like the old strip label makers where you punched one letter at a time. You wrote your own message on the token. Lots of service guys did them. I found one w/ name and service number and was able to return it(we're a pretty small town and his was uncommon name). Some times they put name/town. Some even printed dirty messages.
Looks like a lot of alkali in the soil there. Good luck.

Thanks for the info, found about 7 of these tokens of this type this year so far. Did trace one name to person who lived here but sadly he deceased in the 70's. These tokens are Always interesting finds.

WOW!...amazing disparate find!....I LOVE the variety...great place!..someplace where everybody gathered....love it...good research on hunt location...I'm very impressed.

Thanks River Rat, i have ben lucky this year, research and lots of checking on locations periodically has paid off. Ive realized the places that dont look that promising and that everyone else ignores usually pay off the most.

Still popping out the finds from there I see! I went on Sunday night and stayed only 30 mins before it started raining. You must have been there earlier that day because i only got just a few coins. You got all those keys:key: there? Wow! I hit the Strat area this week and plan on going back this weekend. Plenty of lots there I haven't hit yet. Not as good as the tear out but always find some silver and wheats. My buddy got a honker of a sterling ring the other day. Message me if you are going to be around. It's still going to be hot, close to 100 again.

I was walking at a snails pace digging every somewhat decent signal that sounded off, all the keys were found in a 12x12 area back where the storage shed was in the back. Sounds like your hunch is paying off on those lots. Congrats on the silver. Wish I could see that ring. I will definitely message you if I am out I try to start early just because of that 100% heat. Wondering if that big storm brought up any other finds in our lot? Might swing by just to recheck. Think we cleaned out the silver. though.

Nice stuff there must be old spots around there to search ... Keep hunting

The good and the bad of Vegas, old bad areas of town with bad reputations houses usually tore down with no further rebuilding so lots of empty lots. So good for us detectorists but bad for neighborhood's regrowth and value which keeps it in usually high crime, drug use, prostitution status. Now the old historic areas like downtown constantly tearing down the old and rebuilding to the new so not much historical structures or areas left and when they do next to impossible sometimes to get in there before its turned into a parking lot or new building.

RayRay - I've come to expect this level of diverse and amazing finds from you - You definitely are a bad a$$ with a detector !! Rock On Brother !!!
