Today I only had about an hour to hunt. As it was windy, thus a bit cold, I decided to run my discrimination in the coin range. The hope was to get only coins. Didn't work out that way.

Not complaining though. I ad a wonderful time and I know I'll hit good stuff in this field eventually.

I've never struck out on baseball fields. It might take several hunts, but I always find some sort of keepers in BB fields. Thanks for the encouragement.

Oh and on the plus side my Mom found two old Canadian Cents when we split of box of cents over dinner. A 43 and a 44. 8-)

Theres an old baseball field in my little town that ive been meaning to detect. It hasnt been used since the 1960s. Half of it is now part of a sewer plant; but the other half is ripe for the picking. Ill have to get there soon. Right now Ive been looking for more old swimming holes. Ive detected two in the last couple of weeks and have pulled out several silver coins as well as wheat pennies.

Great effort! I hope awesome finds find their way under your coil.
