✅ SOLVED Horse or mule shoe?

Here's my one and only good find yesterday afternoon. Sad but true fact of this hobby not all hunts are created equal.
So I was asked by a buddy if this was a mule shoe?. My honest opinion of what beast it came off of was.
You'll have to guess at the actual size from the photo.

I would've been tickled pink if I found that yesterday. My daughter and grandson helped me. All we found was fence, nails, and a piece from our own modern equipment. Hubby was happy to get that back. Grandson was not impressed.
