Hope I dont get Jinxed in July - EE's month thread.

Well, June was definatly gloomy and I hope I dont get another month of nonsense. Basically I was ahead a month when June started for my goals and I still am for the moment in July.

Goal for July, 10.7021ozt

Dumping $1000 in halves on Monday and picking up unknown $$$ of dimes and nickels.

Ok, Today's halves were a surprise and a disappointment along with a first.

Box 2: Skunk

One day you will go to your pickup bank, the teller will apologize that only one one box came in with the courier....and it will be your dream box.

My tellers will not sell my boxes. One guy already tried to buy one off them and they said no. They said they would talk with me first, I searched it, rerolled it and sold it back to them to sell to him. He wanted to give the halves out as change at a local carnival for the 4th.

Some of mine will, some wont. I was referring to my box earlier in the week. The teller said the courier shorted the branch on halves so I only got one box, and it had 120 keepers in it.

I am waiting for that box.. its coming. I keep finding dumped collections I just dont do high enough volume to come across the big scores otherwise I think I would have got a couple of them by now. As stated earlier, sadly, unless I move up to the city, I cant do large volume. Working 6 days a week, its tough as it is to do 6 boxes a week with picking up and dumping split between 2 cities 30 miles apart.

I will get my turn but I am happy, as long as I get my 4oz a week I am happy and as long as I get ahead of that goal I am very happy. Just sad that 4 out of 6 boxes this week were skunks with 2 being such good boxes. Its so random, its kind of annoying lol.

At least next week is all icing on the cake.

Next month is a 5 week hunting cycle for me, 32 boxes for Aug, the most I have done in a month to date is 28.

We shall see how it goes, I need to start working on a title for next months thread :D

I hear ya on the work thing. I am down to 10 boxes/week on orders, and I cant dump much more than that. Family and work taking a bite into the CRHing time, but its cool. My days of 25 plus boxes/week are long over.

Got dimes and nickels finally from my dump bank.

$64 in nickels - Skunked
$265 in Dimes - Skunked

Went to a pickup bank today.

Grabbed about $10 in halves from the tellers trays, a lone 67.

5 Rolls CW Quarters : Skunked
Box 1: Skunked
Box 2: Skunked

One teller who was on lunch has something for me in her drawer. Not sure what it is but I am going to return tomorrow to see what it is. I also saw 1 Ike in her tray, I asked the other teller to ask her to hold it for me.

Friday I have 5 boxes of halves due. Hopefully those pay off.

You went through 64$ in nickels and didnt find anything?or do you just take war nicks and not pre 60?

I keep the pre 60's but there were maybe 12-15 of them total. I dont really count them as a find since I only really care about silver content. I do hold the nickels though for future auction because around here, pre 60 nickels go for about $8-$10 a roll.

Nickels and dimes tomorrow from my drop bank will finish up July. June was my worst month ever since starting CRH in January, I only got 2.5868 oz total in CRH Halves, this month was my best ever at 18.3420 in 26 boxes beating out May, 18.1640 oz in 28 boxes

I am thinking about upping my volume just a bit. I am thinking of opening another account in town soon to use as a dump, ordering more from my buy banks so that I can get through the pallet faster using just 1 source. If I could do an extra 2 or 3 boxes a week, I would be quite happy.

Hopefully tomorrows pickups pay off. End of the month report coming this weekend.

$660 in dimes searched today. Skunked but I did come up with $100 worth of quarters in the bag. I think the teller grabbed a mislabled bag so I will bring them back tomorrow and see if that is the case. If not, who knows.

$92 in nickels will be searched tomorrow.
