I have an 1874 leather bound book named "Droll Stories" Authored by: Honore De Balzac. In it's first pages it states that this book is the first ever written for English reading.
Illustrations are done by - Gustave Dore.
I have researched this book on other sites and the only years I come across are from 1928 -on. Does anyone have any idea what I have? It is in prime condition and no missing pages.
