Re: Homemade diggin' tool
Hey guys, thanks for the great responses. Im not looking to market this thing or sell em & make money, I just want to make a good tool that works so I dont have to pay $50-$60 for crap! Took about 3 hours to make this one, trying to cut parts for 4 tools at a time to try to get the assembly time down to a minimum. I am making one for Jim, Angelo, cubfan 64 & Gabbit, if they pass their riggerous demands & prove to be worthy & functional I may make a bunch more (as time allows) & give them away if you pay shipping. That'll be down the road a ways. I took ecdonovan & stefans advice & got grip tape from a bike shop today, looks good & feels great! Also notched other side of blade, used it for a couple hours today & like it. But, I am a detecting newbie, so we'll let Jim & the boys decide if it is a keeper or not. Thanks again everbody.........![Grin ;D ;D](https://www.treasurenet.com/smilies/grin.gif)
