Holmes Booth Haydens tag

Found this item today at an old farmhouse. It about the size of a quarter. Reads "No" "Holmes Booth Haydens" and 5 1 16 035.

I did see that Holmes Booth & Haydens started a lamp company in Waterbury, Ct in 1853 and that they produced other metal items and also issued advertising tokens.

Could this be some sort of tag off a lamp? Or something else?
