Thanks Mike,Yes Manual sensativity and running at 28, deep on. I haven't made any other adjustments yet. Once it warms up I'll play with the setting some more to tweak it.

The E-trac is a good machine Ron and it looks
like you are going to enjoy it a lot more come
this summer. Congrats on the silvers, sure more
are in your future. BTW...good video also.

Ah! Nothing like a winter hunt in the cold wading through the snow and battling frozen turf. I remember it well. Now if you will excuse me my nose tells me that second pot of coffee is done brewing and time to toss another log on the fire.

I enjoyed watching your video, Ron. You did very well for not being super familiar with your detector. I'm learning more and more, as I read and watch videos on TNet. Thank you for sharing your nice finds!

Hard core frozen hunting!

Re: History's Dirty Secrets #19 Winter hunting II

Great video Ron! Man, that makes me happy to be in CA; I don't think I could hang in the winter over there.

Looks like you're going to pick up the Etrac pretty quickly. Looking forward to see how it compares to your last machine when you get familiar with it.

And nice work Mark on that last dig. Good thing it ended up being a Barber!

Re: History's Dirty Secrets #19 Winter hunting II

I'd love to own an Etrac... awesome machine. Ground is frozen like that here so I just hit the beach, I just don't have the patience to chip the hard ground. True dedication sir, killer finds!
