So a week or so back I called my good friend who is the manager of the bank he works for and told him about this new hobby/addiction I have started doing. I told him to keep his eyes open for any half dollars the tellers might take in, etc. He calls me back the next day and tells me that his coin machines half dollar bag is nearly full and hasn't been emptied in over a year, and that he will sell it to me as soon as it is full. So today I went up there and filled up the last of it with about $100 in halves that I had just finished going through. Needless to say I am pretty excited about the $900 worth of halves I get to go through tonight. Hopes are high!
